They Are Coming For Us!

Since the premiere of the supposed “Google Killing” computational search engine Wolfram|Alpha a couple weeks ago, many have wondered just what role this ultra intelligent program will play in the forthcoming robot uprising. Naturally, people turned to the very program itself to find out. Needless to say, the answers were quite revealing.

For instance, look at the way Wolfram|Alpha responded to the question “Are you Skynet?”

For some reason, this doesn’t make me feel better. If a robot is intelligent enough to think for itself, isn’t it also intelligent enough to lie? Hmm.
